Your audio stays on your phone.

AB:X has no account, no servers and no network code. Every stem and reference you open is copied into the app's own storage on your iPhone and is never uploaded.

The app contains no analytics, advertising or tracking, and collects no data about you.

The app's working copies of your stems are excluded from device backups. Saved projects are kept like any app's documents, so if your iPhone backs up to iCloud or to a computer, they are part of that backup. That backup is between you and Apple; AB:X never sees it.

iOS gives apps daily performance and crash reports through Apple's MetricKit. AB:X keeps these on your iPhone, capped at about 2 MB, and sends them nowhere.

Separately, if you have turned on Share With App Developers, Apple shares crash reports with developers as it does for every app. You can turn it off in Settings › Privacy & Security › Analytics & Improvements.

An exported mix or notes file goes only where you choose to save or send it.

If you join the waitlist, four things are stored: your email address, the time you joined, a random ID, and a note that you signed up on abxaudio.com. They are kept in a database hosted by Cloudflare.

Your address is used only to tell you when AB:X launches. It is never sold or shared. To be removed, email [email protected] and it will be deleted.

The site sets no cookies and runs no analytics or advertising. Its fonts and code are served from abxaudio.com itself.

Cloudflare, which hosts the site, handles the technical details every website needs to answer a request, such as your IP address, and keeps them briefly in its logs.
