Ask the person who builds it.
AB:X is made by one person, who reads every email. Answers to the questions that come up most are below.
Say which iPhone and which version of iOS you're on, and what you did just before the problem. A screenshot or screen recording helps.
Availability
AB:X isn't on the App Store yet. It's coming to iPhone in fall 2026. Join the waitlist to hear when it's out.
What you need
An iPhone on iOS 17 or later, and stems exported from the same start point. AB:X opens WAV, AIFF, CAF, FLAC, ALAC, M4A, MP4, MP3 and AAC, up to 32 files at a time.
My stems are out of time
AB:X starts every stem together; it doesn't move them. Export every stem from the same zero, leading silence included, and they'll line up.
Some files didn’t load
Anything unsupported, unreadable or past the 32-file limit is listed in an alert after the import. If your stems live in cloud storage, Select Files is the surer route than opening a folder: not every provider hands its folders to other apps.
An import cleared my mix
Both bulk import routes replace everything in the mixer. Save the project first if you want to keep it. Saved projects save themselves about a second after each change.
Projects take up space
Nothing deletes a project's audio on its own, because a snapshot may still need it. In Projects, Clean Up Unused Audio removes only what no snapshot, test version or current state still uses, and tells you how many files it removed.
